It's not every day that a home cook gets to rub shoulders with culinary heavyweights like Tom Colicchio and Dorie Greenspan -- even when that cook is also a high-powered executive.But Judy Mueller of Fanwood now finds herself in the company of the celebrity chef and restaurateur Colicchio, and the serial cookbook author Greenspan as the developer of a recipe that is among 250 in "The Epicurious Cookbook," (Clarkson Potter, $27.99), released last week.It's a simple recipe -- creamy baked corn elevated by the addition of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese -- but it's exactly what Epicuious Editor-in-Chief Tanya Steel and others were seeking in putting together a cookbook that meshes chefs' recipes with the ease appreciated by busy but choosy-palated home cooks like Mueller, who is the mother of a two-sport eight-grade athlete, and resident of DSI RF Systems, a SomWe tried to be as open as possible in that we knew that there are just so many amazing Epicurious recipes," Steel said. The cookbook, which includes special occasion recipes, easy omfort foods, and vegetarian or vegan dishes among others, is divided by seasons. "We decided that a third of each season should be devoted to recipes developed by home cooks," Steel said. In deciding on the ipes, they considered not only the "four-fork" user ratings, but "different ingredients that we thought we eeded to have in each season -- or if we needed more sides, more desserts.
